You may all be thinking to yourself - "Something's different"
Following on from some lengthy discussions behind the scenes, We have decided it was best to set up new groups to make it easier for you to get assitance quicker & know who's who really, as often you may PM someone from another Part of the network without realising or not getting a response etc.
Below is a brief explaination of who's in which group on this site & across the network.

Network Admin :
Network Admin's visit all the STOC/RSOC network of sites and work behind the scenes to maintain site software, member subscription issues & assist club staff with day to day moderating activity of each site. From time to time the Network Admin team will also look after specific duties and you may well see some specific announcements on this at a later stage.

Club Staff
Staff in this group are tasked with moderating the forums, dealing with your queries & managing the sites daily running. Club staff should be your first point of contact if there are any parts of the site which you are not too sure about.
On another note : Club Staff may well be the ones who will contact you if you have broken any of the club house rules. Club Staff are empowered also to apply moderator preview / ban / suspension to any member who seriously breaks the club's terms and conditions.
From time to time, club staff may take on different roles, e.g. Regional Reps Manager etc. Announcements will be made when this is in force.

Network Staff
Staff from other parts of the network may visit our site to inform us of regional meets, to gain information in order to help other members, or to assist with holiday cover whilst our club staff are on holidays. Network Staff can and will moderate posts / threads & deal with member queries in the same fashion as our Site Staff would.

good info there mark but a minor point. i dont think there are enough club staff as with only 2 there spread a bit thin online and geographicly, with colin in the deep southwest and rich in northamptonshire that leaves a lot of country north of that for them to cover.

This was discussed at the management meeting mike. The decision was made that for the time being the mondeo STOC only needs 3 staff members. As numbers increase we will look into taking on new staff.

I also see you point about having a staff member up north, when/if the time comes it would make sense to have a staff member up in sunny Scotland !
