Norfolk sounds good :) few years ago that would be in the minority but Norfolk/Suffolk/Essex/cambs/harts probably covers half the members these days as a guess lol.

Id love the site to be more active but sign of the times, no offence to anyone but the refusal to embrace FB and the likes in my opinion a few years back is now having an impact but how you combine a web forum and fb is tricky business. Then there the fact that the site engine is awkward from a mobile user to do the basic things like upload pics. But all that aside this is the best place on the net for the best owners lol but also this site has priceless info and knowledge that you just cant search for on FB and the others.

I think it would be really easy to combine Facebook with the forum. It would be a much harder battle now as other clubs have a massive presence.

The worry was in my opinion that revenue would be lost due to people joining the club on Facebook with no fees to pay and the forum would die. Also their lack of control on Facebook. However controlling the content is pretty easy. And the complete lack of Facebook presence killed the forum and revenue along with it.

Facebook could be a great platform to drive the hardcore members to the forums. Thus revitalising it.

There is a Facebook page. However it is setup as more of an announcement page that no one was allowed to run and member engagement was non existent.

I would love the chance to use Facebook to drive new members to the MSTOC.

This is and always will be my club. I utilise Facebook groups for engagement as sometimes its a lot easier. I prefer Instagram as its less political.

@Clive @Neil I know this was discussed a few years ago and the answer was no. However due to the severe lack of numbers coming to the club and very low membership would a trial be considered on this? If no new members join within a set time then it can be canned. I would happily take on the responsibilities of it and police it very closely. So no one else had to dedicate more of their time.

I want MSTOC not only to survive but to flourish as well. We all know this is the best club but not everyone is old school like us. And with the very low Mondeo ST numbers its hard.

I'm not sure what you're proposing here Mark, if you want to set up a Facebook group and promote Mondeostoc.com on it, and mention the group on here, please feel free to go ahead.

@Clive would I be able to set it up as MSTOC Facebook page. With the MSTOC logo. Or would it have to be non affiliated and separate.

Yes, with the unlikelihood of anybody else being the slightest bit bothered, you have my permission to set up a Facebook group using the MondeoSTOC logo, we do actually have an official Facebook group but I have no idea who controls it or has access to it, and it hasn't been used for 3 years anyway, so please feel free to go ahead Mark.

Thanks @Clive we tried to gain control of that group about 3 years ago. But as all control had been given up on it at some point no one could Gain access.

Appreciate this. Hopefully we can drive some Fresh blood to the forums.
