Hello everyone
thought would start a progress thread
owned car since September

always wanted a st, now I have one over the moon

Things I have done so far are minor but I am a man of subtle mods the naturally is amazing so wouldn't want to spoil look
full service + brake replacement and fluid on front
dreaded steering hose
dash bulbs which I can strongly advice to stick normal bulbs in . Don't ask lol
st seat pads
led puddle lights, led side lights , led number plate lights
dmb badges all round
things to do

Pioneer double din
heko wind deflectors ordered
paint calipers
tint windows
powder coat wheels

First thing do when buy new car is fix everything and service it
Give her the worx

so cheap for me I do everything myself
mechanic perks lol
plus I gave her my 7hour detailing

What d'you mean by 'Dreaded steering hose'? Saw someone mention it in an ad aswell before.

Also, with the dash lights, did you fit LED type and have them fail on you?

i say dreaded because it one serious pain in the ass to do
6 hours of intensive work and im a experianced mechanic and found it hard to do
you have to take off alot and i think you should take subframe off to get acess to the screw that hold pipe in rack but i managed to use a chisel to undo bolt and undo with a pair of small mole grips and t20 bit
trust send to garage could not to it on your drive unless youre a hero

led bulbs in dash resisters kept going so i put standards one in the would put a epleptic in a fit the flashed so much

Led,s in the dash can have serious consequences with the board in the console, some work, some don't that's the chinks for you.

Have you done the plugs yet? If not have a set j gapped and indexed, it makes a HUGE difference to power on the 220

Do you have any plans for tuning?

I have done plugs ngk iridium in there capped to correct gap
explain j gapping for me why your at it

Just stick to normal bulbs in dash they do purpose

As for tunning fitting miltek and having remap
already has piper panel filter which I fitted just for service purposes
getting magnacor kv85 leads
leaving suspension same height
upgraded tyres to my favourite toyo proxes t1r
recently done brakes all tho pulling off to paint very soon happy with standard setup its good with new brake fluid and bled properly
