Got the ST220 Estate as the old ST HTDCi was written off. It was totally bog standard when I got it with the Red Recaro interior. Higher tax bracket but its worth it! Absolutely love it. Full Ford service history and only 33k on the clock!

Sounds a nice car you have there. If everbody said the money i spent on the car i could have bought a whatever, we would never spent any money on our cars. <img src='http://www.mondeostoc.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Do you MSDS headers and Y pipe make a improvement to the perfomance.

Yeah fair point there mate, i do love it and it is MY car.

The MSDS headers and y pipe do really open it up through the mid range and in the higher revs. When i swapped them i noticed how restrictive the old one was compared to the new one. I would reccomend them but they are pricey. im not too sure on the BHP etc gain i got from them as im still wating on a rolling road remap! when i do finally do it ill do a bit of a tread on it and get a few vids up as ive done the piper cams aswell. should be interesting it think!

I bought myself stainless set from Racebits, a cat convertor and a new flex pipe and header and y pipe. just need to get them on now. Did you put them on yourself or did a garage do it. Sounds from the comment it is worth doing.

Yeah they are well worth doing and the sound you get from them is very good aswell. I wish i could fit them! The guy who sells them (Racebits, Shaun) has a friend who owns a garage called Redbitz (barry).
They are based in Cannock and they did all the fitting for me however it is a b*tch to fit the rear manifold so it did take the them a whole day to do.

As we all know this is in the big scrap yard in the sky after a head on collision. Fortunately most of the parts were stripped and went to good homes from members on here!
