Hello all.

I am coming from the BMW world, first M235i then m2 competition but I figured I wanted a project car and I have always loved Noble so here I am.

Ford wise - we have had some in the family. Two escorts, two mondeos and one focus. Not a single ST tho.

Nowdays I am proud owner of a Duratec 3.0 205bhp Mondeo wagon that has seen better days. Currently on engine stand waiting for new bearings and gaskets, chain, tensioner etc. Also got a standalone ECU and a Holset HX40 super, and e85 goodies.

Thinking about putting this into a Fiesta ST on the rear seats but it first things first, gonna scour this site for as much information as possible then take it from there.

Any good advice is certanly welcome as these cars arent that popular over here in Sweden but I know you guys love em.

Welcome to our little corner of the internet.

Plenty of info on here, but I have not seen any of our members drop in a V6 in a Fiesta.

It has been done, battery in the boot, electronic steering from a saxo iirc, and plenty of other bits that have to be measured and sourced from other cars. I believe the track width will have to be increased by 280mm plus. Custom drive shafts will also have to be made.

Use the Mondeo clocks, ECU and Wiring looms, and don't forget the immobiliser chip for the ECU from the keys.

Good luck 馃憤

Ty!

Well its an MK6 Fiesta - that I havent picked up yet, cause of all the work with the duratec(waiting for chain, gaskets, oil and water pump)

As for ECU to keep it simple, or rather to save some sleepless nights its gonna be a standalone. MaxxECU. Electronic pedal and body, VAG pencil coils and Bosch 550cc.

Also first time AL-tig so lets see how fuel rail looks when I am done.
So the current status is: input shaft bearing of the gearbox is crushed, so new bearings coming. Might aswell turn the gear selector while I have gearbox out, gears and sycros look very good for a car this old tbh.

Going to sort out some kind of EGR cutout, as far as it looks its just cutting some sheet metal but will get back on that.

AC is gone and wont be coming back. Powersteering is also gone (wow Ford wtf). Might go for a Focus 12V pump but I dont really wanna put any time on that now. So need to find a 6 "tracked" belt for alternator and balancer.

I am trying to figure out what kind of cam and crank sensors are on these cars, any input is appriciated as autodoc has multiple. Are we digital or analog?
