After owing a Fiesta ST, wanting the Focus ST but couldn't afford one... its hard to resist the Mondeo ST with the second hand prices. It really is a lot of car for the money, offering a great all round package... I hope Ford don't disappoint us with the Mk4 version!
Mine is a 2004/04 part pre-facelift... meaning it didn't inherit the chrome and some interior upgrades, but I was lucky to gain the Sony 6006CD/AUX player, 6 speed box and a few other goodies.
What I love about the car is not only the performance and handling, but the level of kit it comes with, every goodie going! I was lucky to pick up one with the Technology Pack.
Additionally I have the Dreamscience Tune on it, producing about 250BHP, offering a really smooth power delivery well into the red line. The only disadvantage with the pre-facelift is the brakes, they are extremely poor, however thanks to EBC Disc, Mintex pads, Goodridge Hoses and AP Racing fluid... they much better
